But further down, the same places appear bright, colorful, and full of life. Is it a vision of how things used to be? Or a possible future? The artist has walked along sights like these many times and often tries to imagine what they were like in the past, full of life and color. But that’s not limited to the past - she sees more and more people around her working on bringing life to places like this, and it makes her hopeful for the future.
